Manage insurance claims, verify patient coverage, and resolve billing issues between providers, patients, and insurance companies. Order dental and office supplies. Lead and manage healthcare staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions aligned with healthcare staff management standards. Ensure compliance with all health regulation policies such as
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and OSHA requirements to maintain a safe and legal practice environment. Coordinate dental administrative support activities related to dental records, electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), dental terminology documentation, and patient management software. Implement quality assurance protocols for dental records management, billing accuracy, and adherence to healthcare practice management best practices. Foster excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that promotes patient satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with a strong understanding of clinic operations. Expertise in managing budgets, financial management systems, and dental billing processes. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems; familiarity with dental-specific software like Dentrix is highly desirable. Strong supervisory skills with experience managing healthcare teams; excellent managerial communication skills are essential. Knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards to ensure legal adherence. Ability to handle dental administrative tasks such as managing dental records, coding procedures accurately, and supporting dental administrative workflows.
