Job Title:
Full-Time Practice Manager (1099 Contractor)

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday (Consistent full-time schedule) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, proactive Practice Manager (1099 Contractor) to oversee daily operational workflows and administrative functions for our outpatient Pain Management and Interventional Radiology practice. This role requires a hands-on leader who can seamlessly manage clinical administration, human resources, external vendor partnerships, and hospital coordination to ensure a high-performing, well-run clinic and procedural suite.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Facility Vendor Oversight:
Direct daily workflows across both the clinic and procedural suite. Coordinate essential facility services, including specialized medical cleaning, biohazard/sharps disposal, and medical gas supply management (e.g., oxygen).
Hospital & Diagnostic Coordination:
Manage hospital surgery scheduling and cross-facility patient care workflows. Partner with third-party vendors to coordinate diagnostic screenings, including ultrasound examinations.
Insurance & Revenue Support:
Oversee insurance pre-determinations, prior authorizations, complex appeals, and coverage verifications.
Scheduling & Workflow Management:
Oversee master provider calendars, patient flow, and clinical scheduling systems.
Human Resources:
Lead administrative HR functions, including staff scheduling, onboarding, performance coordination, and team communication.
Clinic Quality Control:
Execute various operational tasks to ensure facility compliance, safety protocols, and seamless daily execution.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of Practice Manager experience specifically within Pain Management, Interventional Radiology, Neurosurgery, or Orthopedics.
Employment Status:
Must be comfortable working as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
Availability:
Consistent commitment to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Technical & Operational Skills:
Proficiency with EMR systems, insurance pre-authorization portals, hospital coordination protocols, and facility vendor management.
Core Competencies:
Exceptional leadership, multi-tasking, organizational efficiency, and interprofessional communication.
Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour

In person
