REMOTE/ Patient facing care Seeking an experienced and highly skilled Optical Manager to lead our dynamic optical department. Responsible for overseeing patient care, sales, inventory management, and Ideal candidate has a background in retail sales, medical terminology, and ophthalmics. Focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences and operational excellence. Duties Manage daily operations of the optical department, including: Patient care Inventory management Retail sales Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve patient concerns effectively. Conduct basic eye care procedures, including taking vital signs Accurately document patient information using medical coding and electronic medical records (Revolution EHR ). Stay informed about advancements in Optical Products, optometric practice, ophthalmology and medical technologies. We are a Vision Source practice! Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth care coordination and referrals. Oversee maintenance and functionality of optical equipment and supplies. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals. Qualifications Experience in Optometry, ophthalmology, healthcare, or related field. Proven experience as an Optical Manager or similar role in a retail or medical environment.
Strong understanding of:
Medical terminology Vision Care Ophthalmic and Optometric billing Retail sales principles Familiarity with: Medical coding electronic health record system Experience working with pediatric patients and awareness of their unique care needs. knowledge aseptic techniques and medical records management preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Job Types:

$17.00 - $23.00 per hour
