The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of dental office management, and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, etc. This role involves coordinating patient care, managing administrative functions, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and JCAHO standards. The Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences while maintaining efficient practice operations. Duties Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, billing, and patient flow Coordinate treatment plans and communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and financial options Supervise administrative staff, including training, performance evaluations, and workflow management Oversee fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations like
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and medical records management Utilize EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) for accurate documentation of patient information and treatment records Handle human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, and staff development Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement process improvements for efficiency Collaborate with clinical staff to support acute care, managed care, and other specialized services Maintain a professional environment that promotes excellent patient care and staff satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management roles Strong knowledge of dental practice operations and medical administrative support functions Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and clinic compliance standards (JCAHO) Supervisory experience overseeing administrative or clinical teams Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets and financial processes effectively Background in medical office experience or healthcare administration preferred Strong communication skills to coordinate between patients, staff, and providers Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and healthcare policies Experience in medical or dental clinic environments is highly desirable This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team within a well-established practice dedicated to providing outstanding patient care.
