Job Description

Dental Office Manager Private Dental Practice | Chelmsford, Massachusetts Our newly renovated private dental practice in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced, hands-on Dental Office Manager . We are a family-oriented practice with wonderful patients, an excellent team, and three kind, easygoing general dentists. Patient satisfaction is our highest priority. We are looking for a respectful and dependable leader who will support our team and share our commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience. Qualifications Dental office management experience is required. Strong knowledge of dental insurance, claims, benefits, and patient financial responsibilities is required. Eaglesoft dental software experience is strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with doctors, clinical staff, and the front desk team. A hands-on approach and willingness to assist wherever needed. Responsibilities Manage and support the front desk and clinical teams. Assist with scheduling and daily patient needs. Manage the office email inbox and all related correspondence. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. Review estimated copayments with patients before their appointments. Submit and process insurance claims. Enter insurance payments and follow up on outstanding claims. Process payroll for staff and doctors. Balance daily financial reports and prepare deposits. Review and cross-check employee route sheets. Process monthly patient statements. Manage accounts payable. Coordinate employee time off and staff and doctor coverage. Arrange service for dental equipment and building repairs. Promote teamwork, accountability, respect, and excellent customer service. Our practice participates with Delta Dental Premier and Blue Cross Blue Shield Indemnity . We also accept insurance plans that allow patients to receive care from out-of-network providers. We submit claims on our patients' behalf and accept insurance payments directly when permitted.
