Job Description

Summary of Job:
Manage the overall operations of UAMPA's clinical and clerical departments at Gulfport locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee supervisor meetings with the Clinical Supervisor and Front Office Supervisor to discuss current issues/concerns (both process issues and human resource issues), areas of improvement, and overall operational health. Attend management meetings to discuss current issues/concerns (both process issues and human resource issues), areas of improvement, overall operational health, and future growth plans. In conjunction with the appropriate Clinical Supervisor and Front Office Supervisor, oversee all hiring of new employees as well as perform disciplinary actions for employees. In conjunction with the appropriate Clinical Supervisor and Front Office Supervisor, complete all staff annual reviews and determine when/if raises are merited. If a raise is merited, bring this to the attention of the HR Director. In conjunction with the appropriate Clinical Supervisor and Front Office Supervisor, oversee the management of all patient complaints in regards to clinical operations. Coordinate with Supervisors to ensure proper staffing is available daily for clinical and front office positions. In conjunction with the Clinical Supervisor and Front Office Supervisor, suggest protocols for each clinical and clerical operations and complete implementation and training of these protocols if approved by upper management. Manage the purchase of routine medical supplies. Ensure completion of the No Show report daily including calling each patient who no showed or cancelled to reschedule. Ensure all scanning is completed timely. Ensure all staff messages are worked within 24 hours. Ensure each front office staff balances correctly at the end of each day. At the end of each day, ensure all desk areas and common areas are clean, organized and free of PHI. Maintain clinical compliance with all government bodies including but not limited to OSHA, HIPAA, DEA, and MIPS. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by management team.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Ten + years of medical experience required Five + years of management experience preferred
Job Requirements:
Employee must be able to communicate clearly with patients. Employee must be able to keep an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time. Employee must be able to be active and mobile for an eight hour period.
