Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Practice Office Manager to lead the administrative operations of a busy healthcare facility. Duties Manage aspects of medical practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative support to ensure seamless clinic functioning Oversee management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, medical billing, and revenue cycle management using EMR/EHR systems. Supervise healthcare staff including medical assists, scribes, administrative personnel, and clinical support teams; facilitate training and performance evaluations Ensure compliance with health regulation policies such as HIPAA, OSHA and state/federal healthcare regulations Maintain accurate medical records and manage electronic health records (EHR) systems to guarantee data integrity and confidentiality Coordinate with healthcare providers on practice management issues including utilization management, managed care contracts, and medical management protocols Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, staff scheduling, conflict resolution, and employee development initiatives Implement office procedures for patient management software and medical administrative support to optimize patient experience and operational efficiency Skills Experience in medical office management with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems Fiscal management skills including budgeting, billing processes, and revenue cycle oversight Proven supervisory experience managing healthcare teams within clinical environments Knowledge of healthcare management practices, health regulation policies (HIPAA compliance), and clinic operations Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, patient management software, and healthcare practice policies Ability to navigate managed care processes, utilization management protocols, and compliance standards efficiently
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.50 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 20.0 per week
