Dental Office Manager Confidential Edison, NJ 08820 $26.78 - $32.25 an hour - Full-time $26.78 - $32.25 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical office management, with a strong background in dental clinic administration and healthcare management. As the Dental Office Manager, you will ensure efficient practice operations, maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing practice performance, managing financials, and supporting clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient care. Must be fluent in Spanish and able to work Mon. 9-5; Tue. & Wed 11-7; Thur & Fri 9-5; and 2 Sat per month 9-3. Duties Oversee all administrative functions of the dental practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and clinical support operations. Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and billing processes utilizing systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix. Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and human resources activities to cultivate a motivated team environment. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical records management standards, and other healthcare policies including JCAHO accreditation standards. Coordinate with clinical staff to support medical management activities, including EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems utilization. Monitor clinic operations to optimize efficiency while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care. Implement policies for medical administrative support functions such as medical terminology accuracy, billing practices, and managed care procedures. Facilitate communication between clinical teams and administrative departments to streamline workflows across acute care or hospital settings if applicable. Skills Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks. Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation. Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records handling, and healthcare compliance standards such as JCAHO.. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing clinic operations and medical administrative tasks.
