Job Description

Job Summary The Advanced Spine Center is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Office Practice Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our surgical spine practice. Experience with an orthopedic or spine surgery group is preferred. This role combines administrative expertise with clinical understanding to ensure smooth practice management and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, proficiency in medical office systems, and a passion for fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients. Duties Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal staff performance Financial management: Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and working with the practice CPA. Knowledge of QuickBooks. Implement and monitor compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and OSHA. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and patient management software Billing experience: Knowledge of medical billing (CPT/ICD-10), collections, and appeals. Supervise the medical billing office, work with our outside billing services and handle billing questions that arise in the office. Lead human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations
Risk Management & Insurance Procurement:
Manage the business insurance portfolio (General Liability, D&O, Cyber insurance etc.) as well as employee benefits, (health, dental, vision, live 401(k). Serve as the point of contact for the insurance brokers Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing patient concerns promptly and professionally Requirements Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a healthcare practice, preferably an orthopedic or spine practice. Knowledge of medical office management systems Strong understanding of healthcare management practices including billing, coding, compliance (HIPAA), and health regulation policies Excellent managerial communication skills to lead staff and coordinate with healthcare providers Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
