At Pondview Veterinary Clinic, we believe pets are family. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to help lead our growing veterinary practice. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about veterinary medicine, team leadership, operational excellence, and creating a positive workplace culture. What You'll Do As Practice Manager, you will work closely with the veterinarians and leadership team to support both the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the clinic.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting a positive, team-oriented culture Coaching, motivating, and developing team members Human Resources management including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, scheduling, and performance management Overseeing client care standards and helping create exceptional client experiences Managing practice marketing initiatives and social media presence Assisting with inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relationships Monitoring accounts receivable and helping maintain financial health within the practice Developing and implementing SOPs, workflows, and operational protocols Supporting efficiency improvements and organizational systems Helping maintain compliance, consistency, and high standards of patient care Coordinating communication between departments and supporting overall team accountability Assisting leadership with business growth initiatives and strategic planning What We're Looking For Previous veterinary management or healthcare management experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to motivate and inspire a team Experience with HR functions and team development Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong client service and relationship-building skills Experience with social media, marketing, or business development is a plus Financial and inventory management experience preferred Passion for both animals and people Why Join Pondview Veterinary Clinic?
