Position Overview The Access to Care Lead (ACL) serves as the primary veterinary "face" of CAMP. This critical role oversees all operational aspects of CAMP's primary care initiative, CAMPclinics. The ACL ensures CAMP actively engages across all target regional communities with consistent, compassionate, and high-quality veterinary care. By bridging clinical management, community outreach, volunteer coordination, and client communication, the ACL keeps our low-barrier programs running smoothly on the ground. Key ResponsibilitiesClinic Operations & Administration Plan and schedule local CAMPclinics across Deschutes, Jefferson, and Crook counties. Maintain accurate patient and treatment records in ClinicHQ. Triage patient needs and communicate directly with clients regarding care instructions. Share veterinary records with partner clinics and social service agencies to support client housing and care transitions. Evaluate clinic operations regularly and provide operational reports to the Executive Director. Ensure all clinic activities comply with local, state, and federal laws and animal welfare regulations. Update and maintain program policies and standard operating procedures. Commitment to serving unhoused and low-income community members with empathy and respect. Volunteer & Team Coordination Recruit, schedule, and supervise volunteers for CAMPclinics. Manage volunteer scheduling and data in the volunteer management database. Facilitate volunteer orientations and trainings, including trauma-informed care protocols. Support a collaborative, positive team environment among staff and volunteers. Veterinary Partnerships & Inventory Build and maintain working relationships with local veterinary hospitals and clinics. Stock, order, and track medical supplies and equipment inventory. Prepare supply requests (such as Patterson Veterinary orders) for submission through the Executive Director. Identify equipment needs and assist with technical details for grant requests. Qualifications CVT/LVT or/and practical experience in veterinary clinic operations, shelter medicine, or community veterinary care Experience using electronic veterinary medical record systems Demonstrated ability to organize schedules, track inventory, and manage clinic workflows. Strong interpersonal skills for client communication, volunteer coordination, and partnership building. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including required evening and weekend clinic shifts.

Pay:

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 - 40.0 per week
