Our Practice Manager will help put those values into action by building strong community relationships, connecting prospective clients with our services, and helping them take the next step toward care. About The Role We are seeking a personable, proactive Practice Manager to help grow our practice. The primary focus of this position is bringing in new clients through referral relationships, community outreach, and responsive intake coordination. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys initiating conversations, developing professional relationships, and following through. You will work directly with the practice owner to connect with organizations and prospective clients, communicate our services, and make the process of accessing therapy easier. Responsibilities Develop and maintain referral relationships with medical offices, prescribers, community organizations, and other potential partners throughout North Carolina. Conduct outreach through phone calls, email, professional meetings, and community networking opportunities. Maintain regular contact with referral partners and share updates about services and appointment availability. Respond to prospective client inquiries and coordinate scheduling and intake paperwork. Track outreach activity, referral sources, inquiries, and completed intakes. Identify barriers that prevent prospective clients from scheduling or completing their first appointment. Coordinate with the practice owner and therapists regarding availability and incoming referrals. Protect client confidentiality and direct clinical questions to the appropriate clinician. Qualifications Experience in healthcare outreach, referral development, community relations, practice operations, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, feel comfortable initiating contact with new partners, and be able to manage follow-up independently. Familiarity with behavioral health services, electronic health records, and client intake processes is helpful. Established relationships with North Carolina healthcare providers or community organizations are a plus. A clinical license is not required. What Success Looks Like Success means developing active referral relationships and helping more prospective clients complete their initial appointments. Performance will be evaluated through the quality and consistency of outreach, qualified inquiries, completed intakes, and ongoing referral partnerships. Schedule This position will begin at approximately 10-15 hours per week. Availability during weekday business hours is needed to communicate with referral partners and prospective clients.
