Property Positioning & Guest Relations Position Overview:
The Printing House is a lifestyle-driven, story-rich property inspired by Nashville's historic printing heritage. Every stay leaves an impression and our Front Office Manager plays a vital role in writing that story through leading the Front Office team and shaping the guest experience. As a lifestyle brand leader, the Front Office Manager will work with management and Front Office team to ensure that The Printing House hotel is compliant with corporate and franchiser policies while exceeding guest expectations in the Nashville market. This position reports directly to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations Resolve customer complaints Anticipate potential problems by monitoring complaints and operational issues Track business flow and associate performance to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality. Compliance and Procedural Processes Implement company programs (SUN/Franchisor) and manage the operations of the Front Office (Front Desk, Reservations, Transportation, Guest Services, valet) to guarantee compliance with LSOPs and SOPs and to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality are provided to the hotel guests. Prepare forecasts and reports to assist in the hotel's business development. Implement and monitor the budget to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service. Monitor and maintain the Front Office systems and equipment to ensure their optimum performance. Team Management & Mentorship Manage the staffing needs of the department in order to attract, retain and motivate the employees. Hire, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel Front Office Team Members. Conduct performance and salary reviews Resolve interdepartmental problems, provide open communication vehicles, discipline and terminate, as appropriate. Cross Department Collaboration Communicate with the sales staff to discuss and implement sales strategies to continually improve occupancy levels and revenues. Maintain good working relationships and open lines of communication with all other departments. Participate in task forces and committees as requested. Perform the Manager on Duty functions as assigned. When needed, assist other departments and employees with any tasks requested by a supervisor or manager
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years hotel experience required Lifestyle or boutique hotel experience preferred Hilton brand experience strongly preferred Experience in the Nashville market highly desirable
