Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Veterinary Technician Manager to lead our veterinary team in delivering exceptional animal care. This pivotal role combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of veterinary procedures, and foster a compassionate environment for both pets and pet owners. Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of veterinary technicians and support staff, ensuring smooth clinic operations Oversee clinical procedures including anesthesia administration, IV insertion, animal restraint, and catheterization to maintain safety and efficiency Support emergency medicine cases by providing critical care, monitoring anesthesia during surgeries, and assisting with urgent treatments Manage laboratory work including phlebotomy, veterinary laboratory tests, and sample processing to facilitate accurate diagnostics Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment, including surgical tools Train staff on aseptic techniques, animal handling, pet care procedures, and client communication to uphold clinic standards Skills Extensive kennel experience combined with animal husbandry knowledge to ensure optimal pet care Proficiency in veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and anatomy for effective communication and procedure execution Strong background in veterinary critical care, anesthesia monitoring, and emergency medicine practices Hands-on experience with laboratory procedures such as phlebotomy and diagnostic testing Skilled in dog handling, animal restraint techniques, and equine experience for diverse patient needs Ability to operate medical equipment confidently including radiology devices and anesthesia systems Excellent client communication skills paired with veterinary software proficiency for seamless record-keeping Join our team as a Veterinary Technician Manager where your expertise will directly enhance the health and well-being of animals while supporting a collaborative work environment.
