In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Your expertise in dental office management, financial oversight, and team supervision will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining efficient practice workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on community health. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of dental practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing, and collections to ensure the practice's financial health Supervise staff including dental assistants, hygienists, administrative personnel, and other team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and state/federal health policies by implementing appropriate policies and procedures Utilize dental practice management software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) along with EMR/EHR systems to manage patient records, appointments, billing, and documentation accurately Coordinate medical administrative support functions including medical records management, medical billing processes, and patient management software utilization Lead human resources activities such as staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to build a cohesive team Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management within a dental or medical setting Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a healthcare environment Extensive knowledge of dental office operations including familiarity with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, EMR/EHR systems, and patient management software Competency in fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing procedures, and managed care processes In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and health policy standards Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with customer service expertise to ensure positive patient interactions Ability to handle medical terminology accurately and manage electronic health records efficiently Prior experience with office management tools like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for reporting and documentation purposes Acute care or critical care experience is a plus; familiarity with JCAHO accreditation standards is desirable Knowledge of medical billing practices and utilization management processes to support practice efficiency Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership fuels excellence in dental healthcare delivery.
