8:00 AM-5:00 PM About the Position We are a thriving general dentistry practice in McKinney seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly organized Dental Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily front office operations, coordinate team workflows, support practice production goals, and help ensure every patient receives exceptional service from the moment they contact our office through the completion of their visit. A strong, proven background in dental insurance processing, financial administration, and Dentrix dental practice management software is required for this role. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Customer Service Welcome and assist every patient with sincerity, warmth, respect, and professionalism. Serve as a key point of contact throughout the patient experience, including phone calls, scheduling, check-in, and check-out. Ensure all patient health history forms and required documents are completed and signed before patient enters the treatment area. Insurance & EOB Management Accurately file dental insurance claims. Interpret and post EOBs. Verify insurance benefits and communicate coverage clearly to patients. Proactively manage aging accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims. Scheduling & Patient Coordination Answer phones and schedule appointments efficiently. Help maintain a full, productive schedule aligned with daily production goals. Coordinate closely with the dentist, hygienist, and assistant to support smooth daily operations. Treatment & Financial Coordination Present treatment plans to patients in a clear and professional manner. Explain insurance benefits, estimated patient portions, and financial options. Arrange financial agreements when needed, including options such as Cherry and CareCredit. Ensure patients understand and agree to treatment costs prior to being seated for treatment. Financial Administration Oversee daily billing and collections. Collect patient copays and outstanding balances. Manage daily and monthly financial balancing. Support accurate reporting and financial organization for the practice. Qualifications & Skills Dentrix proficiency required. Advanced knowledge of Dentrix dental practice management software is essential. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Dental Office Manager, Lead Treatment Coordinator, or Lead Insurance Coordinator. Strong understanding of PPO dental plans, CDT coding, insurance verification, claims processing, and EOB posting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to build respectful, positive working relationships with patients and team members. Must be reliable and able to commute to our McKinney, TX office.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation:
$28.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience. Dental Benefits General dentistry services provided by our office are included at no charge for the employee and immediate family members. The employee is responsible only for applicable lab fees. Additional Perks Employees may opt in for at-cost Botox, Juvederm, MI Paste, and products offered for public sale through the office.
