The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining patient files, facilitating medical collections, and utilizing Open Dental software to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately. Manage patient files, including updating records and maintaining confidentiality. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to address inquiries and concerns. Assist with dental collections as needed, ensuring compliance with office policies. Utilize Open Dental for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and tracking treatment progress. Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to patient records and billing. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission to relevant parties. Maintain a clean and organized office environment that promotes efficiency. Assist Office manager in front office duties Skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient files and documentation. Proficiency in Open Dental or similar dental office management software. Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with patients and staff. Experience in medical collection processes is preferred but not required. Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks. Familiarity with dental office or clinic operations is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
