About Our Clinic We are a small, family-owned orthopedic and wellness clinic with deep roots in the community and a reputation for warm, personal, patient-centered care. Our physician has cared for this community for nearly 20 years and is well known and loved for his commitment to helping patients return to the lives, activities, and people they care about most. Our clinic provides both surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic and sports medicine concerns. We also offer innovative pain and mental health treatments through our CRNA, whose compassionate approach gives patients additional options for relief, healing, and improved quality of life. We are proud of the small but excellent team we have built. Now, we are looking for the right leader to help support that team, strengthen our systems, and allow the owners to focus more fully on what they do best: caring for patients. About the Role The Practice Manager will be an essential on-site leader in the daily life of the clinic. This person will bring organization, accountability, sound judgment, and creative problem-solving. The right candidate will enjoy being close to the work, noticing what needs attention, improving processes, and helping a small practice run with more ease and confidence. In a small practice, every improvement is visible, every relationship counts, and the right manager can make a meaningful difference for patients, providers, and staff every day. Oversee day-to-day clinic operations including schedules, patient management, staff supervision, and administrative workflows Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing processes, vendor relationships and resource allocation Supervise, lead, and encourage a small team of dedicated employees to ensure high performance and compliance with policies Maintain proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), practice management software, and other medical office technology Ensure adherence to health regulation policies such as HIPAA compliance, medical records management, and safety standards Maintain credentialing for clinic providers Lead human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and customer service standards Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and customer service standards Serve as a trusted operational partner to the owners by taking management responsibilities off their plate. Ideal Candidate
- Accounting, bookkeeping, financial management, or business operations experience.
- Health care or medical office experience is preferred, especially experience with billing, insurance, or practice management.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Comfortable making decisions, solving problems, and building better systems.
- A proactive leader with ingenuity, follow-through, and a calm, steady presence.
- Strong communication skills with patients, staff, providers, vendors, and owners.
