In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and payer requirements. Your proactive approach will support the smooth operation of our revenue cycle and enhance client satisfaction by maintaining accurate provider information and facilitating seamless communication across departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a reputable organization dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services. Duties Verify and compile provider credentials, licenses, certifications, and other necessary documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and payer requirements Manage the credentialing and re-credentialing process through electronic health records (EHR) systems and credentialing software Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal teams to gather required information and resolve credentialing issues promptly Maintain accurate records of provider credentials, expiration dates, and renewal deadlines using data entry tools and Microsoft Office applications Facilitate communication between internal departments, clients, and third-party payers to ensure timely updates and submissions of credentialing documentation Assist with managed care enrollment processes, insurance third-party billing, and revenue cycle management activities Support schedule management for credentialing appointments, renewals, and audits to meet strict deadlines while ensuring efficiency in workflow Skills Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings with a focus on credentialing or provider enrollment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Knowledge of health insurance plans, managed care operations, and the revenue cycle management process Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and data entry procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone or written correspondence Understanding of medical terminology relevant to provider credentials and insurance billing processes Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in schedule management and internal communication Strong writing skills for preparing reports, correspondence, and credentialing documentation Typing speed that supports efficient data entry without compromising accuracy Join us as a Credentialing Specialist if you're passionate about supporting healthcare operations through meticulous organization, proactive communication, and a commitment to excellence.
