Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today. Responsibilities The Health Information Services (HIS) Technician II manages and ensures the integrity of patient chart information. All medical records are maintained in an appropriate manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern medical records. An established procedure will be used to ensure necessary and accurate information is on all charts. The Technician enters and retrieves all patient chart data, corrects missing or incorrect data and oversees the dissemination of patient chart information to physicians, patients, and other requestors. This role also performs clerical and customer service responsibilities including using office technology, answering and routing phone calls and processing paperwork.
