This position communicates device information to and from all clinics and works closely with nurses and physicians to support quality patient care. Specific Duties:
Obtain hospital pacemaker implant and post-operative records and upload them to the electronic health record (EHR). Verify that new patients are scheduled for appropriate post-implant follow-up. Enter and maintain all implantable device patients in the device clinic data management software. Coordinate and manage patients through the device clinic data management system and multiple vendor websites. Assist patients with remote monitor connectivity and respond to patient calls regarding device management. Monitor patients approaching device end-of-life and coordinate office visits and interrogations as necessary. Review and analyze remote implantable device transmissions from multiple models and vendors, including recognition of arrhythmias, battery status, and available lead data. Schedule device checks and remote transmission appointments. Respond to inquiries received by email or EHR from clinics regarding patients with implantable devices. Utilize knowledge of ECGs and cardiac rhythms, including recognition of basic arrhythmias. Maintain accurate and complete documentation in the patient's medical record, including electronic documentation as applicable.

Pay starting at $19.93.

This position is Monday through Friday, 8AM-4:30PM.
