Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider, where your expertise will elevate patient care and advance clinical outcomes. In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical dermatologic services. Your proactive approach and clinical skills will help improve patient satisfaction and promote skin health across diverse populations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and vital signs documentation. Manage acute dermatologic conditions, triage urgent cases, and coordinate appropriate follow-up care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals on diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical research initiatives. Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in discharge planning, patient education, and health coaching to promote skin health and overall wellness. Skills Extensive experience with EMR/EHR management systems for efficient documentation and data collection. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy related to skin and physiology, and diagnostic test interpretation. Ability to perform physical examinations, vital signs assessment, and client communication effectively. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes related to dermatologic procedures; understanding of ICD-10 coding standards. Experience working within collaborative practice agreements alongside dermatologists or other healthcare providers in outpatient or hospital environments. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records and electronic health information security. Pay:
$120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
