Summary We are seeking a Health Information Technician to join our team at united Methodist Home Elizabeth Church Campus. Employee responsibility would be compiling and maintaining medical records of patients of health care delivery system to document patient condition and treatment. Responsibilities Manage patient health records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Utilize EHR systems effectively for data entry and retrieval. Interpret medical terminology to assist in record management. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Conduct regular audits of medical records for compliance with regulations. Provide support in training staff on health information protocols. Assist in the implementation of new health information technologies. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices. Qualifications Previous Medical Records experience with medical terminology. Must be a certified Health Information Technician Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong understanding of medical terminology. Familiarity with medical records management practices. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
