Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team! Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures Manage patient appointments using electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software Verify patient insurance information and process billing or co-payments accurately Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing information and scheduling appointments Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with health regulation policies and privacy laws Prepare and update medical administrative documents, including forms and reports Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely flow of patient information and documentation Support medical staff with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record management Assist patients with navigating health insurance policies and billing inquiries Keep the reception area organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies Experience Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment required Experience and working knowledge of medical insurance highly preferred Familiarity with patient management software, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), or EHR systems Strong knowledge of health regulation policies and maintaining patient confidentiality Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person Basic understanding of medical terminology Join us to make a positive impact on patient care through your organizational skills, energetic attitude, and dedication to excellence.
