Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using electronic health records (EHR) systems utilizing eClinicalWorks Schedule patient appointments accurately utilizing medical scheduling software and coordinate follow-up visits as needed Manage incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing clear information and directing inquiries appropriately Collect and process medical collections, insurance details, and patient payments while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and ensure proper electronic health records (EHR) management Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, typing (including 10-key), filing, and updating patient information in various office management systems Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office administrative role with clinic experience preferred Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with electronic health records management is essential Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive clinical confidentiality policies professionally Proficiency in medical terminology, medical coding (ICD-10/CPT), and health insurance processes including Medicare billing procedures Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with medical billing software Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and health information management Ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person while maintaining professionalism at all times Join us in delivering outstanding patient service through efficient front desk operations and compassionate support.
