The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires prior dental experience to effectively manage appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and administrative tasks related to dental care. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment while supporting the clinical team. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations using our practice management software. Verify patient information and update records accurately. Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Collect and process payments, insurance information, and co-pays as needed. Answer phone calls promptly, address patient inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members. Maintain organized and up-to-date patient files in compliance with privacy regulations. Assist with administrative tasks such as mailing reminders, preparing patient forms, and managing correspondence. Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinical operations and patient flow. Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. Requirements Must have prior dental experience; familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Proficiency in using dental practice management software is preferred. Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are crucial for success in this role.
