Job Description

Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Coordinator that loves building and maintaining positive relationships with patients. Chiropractic is a drug-free health profession, so our ideal candidate should be excited about helping patients using natural means, as we strive to help patients heal without the use of drugs, shots or surgeries. The office is open M-Th, so you'll enjoy three day weekends. Training pay is $18/hr. After a probationary period, base pay will increase to $20/hr plus bonuses.
Duties / Skills
Greet and check-in patients with a smile Answer phone, manage incoming patient inquiries, verify patient insurances, ensure co-pays and outstanding balances are collected Quick learner on computer software / EHR Manage, confirm, and schedule appointments for optimum patient flow via telephone Support and achieve business goals, revenue, and profitability objectives Continuously assess the schedule ensuring optimum patient flow Respond to patient, clinical, and operational concerns timely and effectively Always excited for growth and change Engage patients in marketing initiatives Enter insurance payments and balance accounts Requirements Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred, especially within chiropractic Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Knowledge of medical terminology, health insurance procedures, and medical billing practices including ICD-10 coding and CPT coding Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in person and over the phone Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially in accordance with HIPAA regulations Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and record management Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude Join us to be an essential part of our clinic's continued success! $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
