Responsibilities:
Greet patient and guide them through the initial visit process. Responsibilites include verifying insurance information and completing necessary paperwork. Assist in scheduling initial appointments, ensuring smooth transition into care. Assist with check In, check Out, confirm appointments. Will also handle prior authorizations request for chemotherapy, office visits, radiology. Handle clerical duties such as filing, data entry, manage correspondence. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Skills:
- Prior authorizations experience perfered.
- Proficiency in using medical office systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for providing exceptional patient service
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
