We are currently seeking a Front Desk/Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic, diverse team. Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk/Medical Receptionist, your day-to-day tasks will include, but not be limited to: Greeting and assisting patients, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors. Answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. Handling patient inquiries and concerns in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner. Processing patient billing and insurance claims, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assisting in the coordination of patient care, including liaising with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Translating for Korean-speaking patients and their families, ensuring they understand their healthcare options and treatment plans. Participating in continuous improvement activities, including training and development programs, to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a medical front desk professional or in a similar role. Fluent in Korean and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including medical terminology and insurance processes. Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using computer systems, including medical software, Microsoft Office Suite, and email. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Certification as a Medical Receptionist or in a related field is a plus.
