About Our Dental Office We are a well-established, patient-focused dental practice looking for an experienced and dependable Dental Receptionist / Patient Scheduler to join our team. We are seeking someone who is professional, organized, friendly, and confident communicating with patients. The ideal candidate understands that the front desk is the first impression of our dental office and plays an important role in providing an excellent patient experience. Position Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally Answer and manage incoming phone calls Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Maintain an organized and efficient daily schedule Check patients in and out Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Review treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients Collect patient payments and maintain accurate account information Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims when needed Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments, treatment, and financial questions Coordinate closely with the dentist, hygienists, and dental assistants Maintain accurate patient records Handle front-office administrative duties Help maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming office environment Qualifications Previous dental front office experience preferred Experience with dental scheduling and insurance Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable, punctual, and responsible Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Familiarity with dental software is a plus The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Enjoys working with people and building relationships with patients Is calm, friendly, and professional even during busy times Pays close attention to detail Takes ownership of their responsibilities Is dependable and committed to the team Can effectively manage a busy appointment schedule Has a genuine interest in helping patients receive the dental care they need What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive and professional work environment Opportunity for long-term employment Paid holidays / PTO Dental benefits If you are an experienced dental receptionist who takes pride in providing excellent patient service and keeping a dental office organized and running smoothly, we would love to hear from you.
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 32.0 per week
