Job Description

We are a busy ophthalmology clinic seeking a motivated professional to join our front office part or full time. The front office is responsible for the first impression patients have and a critical part of the patient experience. The front office will be responsible for patient management, scheduling, greeting, high call volume support, and making patients feel welcome.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with questions, scheduling, billing, medical records, prior authorizations and all other non-medical visit needs
  • Polite, prompt and effective service
  • Collect appropriate payments or co-payments
  • Other front office duties as assigned You should have:
  • A warm personality with a strong desire to help patients, and a passion for healthcare and support
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working with a diverse team
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
Candidate Qualifications:
  • MUST have 1 or more years prior work experience in front desk operations in a medical office setting
  • MUST know the differences between HMO and PPO.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, ideally ophthalmology or optometry
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must Please send resume with relevant experience for consideration.
