This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with patient care coordination, ensuring a seamless experience for patients from check-in for dental treatment. Our office is seeking a detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional patient service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, while also supporting clinical staff with documentation and scheduling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative team delivering quality care. Monday through Thursday schedule with DOE pay. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process Manage appointment scheduling using Open Dental Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with dental insurance inquiries. Collect and process payments, perform treatment collections. Review patient chart updates for completeness and accuracy. Maintain and organize dental records in compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and scheduling appointments efficiently Perform clerical duties such as filing, and managing office supplies. Qualifications Proven experience as a dental receptionist or treatment coordinator in a clinical or dental setting Strong knowledge of Open Dental Software Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in accordance with HIPAA regulations Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to enhance communication with diverse patient populations Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in dental records management and appointment scheduling Previous clinic or healthcare office experience is highly desirable; dental clinic experience is a plus Demonstrated professionalism in phone communication, office management, and patient interaction
