Full-Time / Part-Time Sanchez Medical Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Bilingual Medical Receptionist / Front Office team member to join our established primary care practice in South Gate. Fluent Spanish and English are required. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience working in a medical front office and is comfortable communicating with patients in Spanish regarding appointments, referrals, insurance, and general medical terminology.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner. Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients in English and Spanish. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Coordinate specialist referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments. Track referral authorizations and insurance approvals. Verify patient demographics and insurance information. Communicate referral requirements, appointment instructions, and timelines to patients. Maintain accurate patient information and documentation. Assist the front office team with general administrative duties.

Qualifications:

Fluent in English and Spanish — required. Minimum 2+ years of medical front-office / receptionist experience — required. Comfortable communicating medical information and terminology in Spanish. Strong customer service and communication skills. Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a busy medical office. Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and electronic medical records. Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus. Medical Assistant certification is a plus, but not required.
