In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help streamline patient intake, appointment scheduling, and medical record management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care through exceptional front desk support and administrative excellence. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and clear directions within the clinic or medical office. Schedule appointments accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting co-pays and updating demographic information. Maintain organized medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review. Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly and efficiently. Support clinic operations by managing appointment reminders, follow-up scheduling, and coordinating with healthcare providers. Utilize computer skills to update patient information. Perform filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks to ensure smooth office management. Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with strong clinic experience. Must hold an active Medical Assistant License Knowledge of medical terminology Sales Experience Preferred Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to review documentation thoroughly and accurately. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and health information management software. Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations.
