Job Description
Overview Farmington Family Dentistry is looking for a three day per week dental receptionist to join our amazing clinical team. We are a family general dental practice that focuses on taking care of patients in a comfortable and honest way while providing top quality dentistry. Most of our patients have been coming for years and feel like family. We pride ourselves on using the latest technology and research to help care of our patients the best way we can! Applicant should be well-organized with great attention to detail. Farmington Family Dentistry is a collaborative, fun environment so teamwork is a must! Our office is paperless so good knowledge of the computer is needed. Farmington Family Dentistry offers paid time off, paid holidays and 401k match among other great benefits. Main Duties of Position
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently
- Handle patient and specialist inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
- Process patient registrations and update their dental records accurately
- Verify insurance benefits and prepare and send dental insurance claims
- Collect payments from patients at time of treatment
- Utilize dental software for administrative tasks
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Balance deposit report and end of day reconciliation Experience The successful candidate should possess:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role within a medical or dental office and Eaglesoft experience preferred
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail, well-organized, and reliable
