Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Care Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent patient service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of dental and medical office procedures. As a Dental Care Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and treatment coordination. Your role is vital in ensuring smooth clinic operations, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional patient care experiences. Responsibilities Manage patient intake processes, including appointment scheduling and confirming upcoming visits through multi-line phone systems and electronic communication. Verify insurance coverage for copays and obtain necessary preauthorizations for treatment to facilitate accurate billing and claims processing. Assist patients with insurance inquiries, billing questions, and payment arrangements while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor. Process and submit electronic insurance claims and treatment plans in an accurate and timely manner. Perform administrative duties including scanning/filing, medical records management, and maintaining organized office files. Support the front desk team by handling phone etiquette professionally and providing excellent customer service to all patients. Ensure compliance with clinical confidentiality policies and health information Experience High school diploma required. Prior experience working in a dental or medical office environment is required. Knowledge in Dentrix is a plus. Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and oral). Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work well independently and in a team setting. Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance, Weave and Dentrix is a plus. Ability to navigate Microsoft Office is required. Strong knowledge of health insurance verification processes, procedures, and coding . Proven ability to handle administrative support tasks such as filing, scheduling appointments, managing multi-line phones, and maintaining medical records accurately.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday. Saturday on rotation with a weekday off (once every 3 to 4 Saturdays, subject to change). Join our team to provide exceptional administrative support that enhances patient care delivery while fostering a welcoming environment for all patients seeking quality dental services!
Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
