Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical scheduling and administrative systems, as well as a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations. Knowledge of Open dental is preferred. If you are a motivated individual with exceptional communication skills and a passion for patient care, we would love to hear from you. Minimum 2 years of dental experience is required. Please do not apply if you do not have dental experience.Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar
- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
- Collect patient information, update records, and maintain accurate patient files
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience in dental office is required (min 2 years)
- Dental insurance knowledge required
- Open dental experience preffered
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
