Full-time Receptionist Responsibilities and Duties:
- The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming patients, visitors, representatives, and other customers by greeting and directing them in a friendly, prompt and helpful manner.
- The Receptionist will ensure the completion of paperwork, sign-in, security procedures, and scheduling of patients. During the check-in process the accounts are registered with the patient's demographics, insurance is verified and copay and deductibles are collected.
- Answer incoming calls and route them to appropriate personnel and take messages and send tasks as necessary.
- Pick up voicemails messages on a daily basis.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School diploma or GED / equivalent required
- Minimum two years of medical office experience preferred
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
