Position Summary We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front office operations, providing excellent patient service, coordinating appointments, verifying insurance information, and supporting daily administrative functions in a fast-paced medical environment. The candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish), detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive patient information with professionalism and confidentiality. Responsibilities Welcome and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, authorizations, and referrals Collect copays, balances, and patient documentation Answer multi-line phone systems and assist patients with inquiries Maintain accurate patient records in EMR/Medisoft systems Coordinate imaging appointments including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, and other diagnostic procedures Communicate effectively with physicians' offices regarding orders and authorizations Upload and scan medical records, IDs, and insurance cards Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times Manage front desk workflow efficiently in a high-volume environment Assist with daily office administrative tasks and reporting Handle patient concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of medical front desk experience required Experience in a diagnostic imaging center, radiology, or specialty medical office preferred Bilingual English/Spanish required Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations Familiarity with EMR/Medisoft systems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work under pressure Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong organizational and computer skills Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Preferred Skills Experience scheduling MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, or X-Ray appointments Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes Experience with Availity, PACS, and Medisoft.
