A busy and growing Cardiology practice is seeking an experienced Medical Telephone Receptionist/Central Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, computer proficient, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and staff. Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Answer incoming calls through the scheduling line and schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently. Triage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member. Upload physician dictations and download reports on a daily basis. Print and prepare daily schedules for appointment confirmation. Retrieve hospital consultation reports and forward them to physicians for review. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate service to all patients and callers. Qualifications Previous medical office experience required. Prior appointment scheduling experience required, preferably in a specialty medical practice. Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Cardiology office experience is preferred but not required.
