Job Description
Dental Front Office & Insurance Coordinator Join Our Growing Dental Family! We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Front Office & Insurance Coordinator to join our privately owned dental practice. If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and enjoy working in a positive, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor. Schedule appointments and efficiently manage the doctor's and hygienists' schedules. Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries promptly and professionally. Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility. Submit and follow up on insurance claims and pre-authorizations. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Assist with billing, payment collection, and account management. Ensure the front office and reception area are clean, organized, and welcoming. Coordinate patient treatment plans and scheduling as needed. Collaborate with the clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess some or all of the following: Previous dental front office experience preferred. Experience with Dentrix practice management software. Knowledge of dental insurance verification, billing, and claims processing. Familiarity with patient billing procedures and treatment estimates. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and manage records accurately. A positive attitude and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Experience assisting with dental terminology and treatment scheduling is a plus. Dental assisting experience or knowledge of dental procedures is beneficial but not required.
