Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience from check-in to check-out. Your expertise in managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and handling medical records will contribute to the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your administrative skills in a healthcare setting while providing exceptional patient service. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including health insurance knowledge and insurance verification procedures Manage patient records with accuracy, including documentation review and electronic health records (EHR) management Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and handle patient inquiries promptly Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and dental charts while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Assist with intake procedures, new patient registration, and updating patient information in EMR/EHR systems Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry Skills Proven experience as a medical receptionist or front desk role within a dental or healthcare environment Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software like Dentrix Knowledge of medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and insurance processes including Medicare and health information management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion following HIPAA regulations Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and record keeping Experience in clinic or hospital settings is a plus; familiarity with dental terminology and clinical confidentiality policies enhances your fit for this role Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding patient care through efficient office management. Pay:
$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
