Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Experienced Dental Front Desk Our busy, patient-focused dental office is looking for an experienced Dental Front Desk to join our team!
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 year of dental front desk experience required Familiarity with dental software is a plus (EAGLE SOFT), if not do not apply to this position Spanish is a must! Welcome patients in a friendly, professional manner and provide excellent customer service. Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails and text messages, and assist patients with questions regarding appointments, treatment, and office policies. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments while maximizing the provider's schedule and minimizing gaps. Check patients in and out efficiently, ensuring all required paperwork and documentation are complete and up to date. Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits, obtain pre-authorizations when needed, and accurately explain coverage and estimated patient financial responsibility. Prepare and present treatment plans, discuss financial arrangements, and collect payments, co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances. Submit insurance claims, follow up on unpaid claims, and assist with accounts receivable as needed. Maintain accurate patient records, update personal and insurance information, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and office protocols. Coordinate with dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants to ensure a smooth daily workflow and excellent patient experience. Manage the office schedule by filling cancellations, maintaining a productive appointment book, and contacting patients from the recall list. Process referrals, request and send dental records, and communicate with specialists and other healthcare providers when necessary. Assist with administrative duties, including scanning documents, filing, ordering office supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area. Handle patient concerns professionally and help resolve scheduling, billing, or insurance issues with compassion and efficiency. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
