Job Description
Internal Medicine Practice in Palm Bay, Florida has immediate opening for a Part time Medical Receptionist Ideal candidate would have 3-5 years' experience in Internal Medicine Practice and proficient with EMR. The job responsibilities listed below are not intended to be a complete list for the position. Employees are asked to adapt to the changing needs of the practice, contribute to a positive work environment and patient encounter. Medical Receptionist Scheduling appointments. Answering phone calls, taking messages for clinical staff and patient call back. Greeting and checking in patients. Verification of insurance eligibility and collecting copay/ deductible/coinsurance. Assist in referrals/ test scheduling/ authorizations. Post co-pays to accounts, Balance Cash, checks and Credit Cards at end of shift. Scan/Upload Patient data in EMR and receive/ send/assign faxes. Experience with phlebotomy Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of computers Proficient in EMR. Good multi-tasking skills Ability to function as a team member No weekends
