Modern office setting Growth opportunities On-the-job training Medical Receptionist Family Medical Specialists of Florida, PLC is a full-service, Plant City, FL-based medical practice. We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and patient-centered. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of a small but growing team and help other medical professionals achieve their career goals.
Job Requirements:
  • Must have medical reception experience and knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to prioritize duties and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds, sit or stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, kneel, and walk at least 2 miles daily
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions as needed
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
Job Duties:
  • Answer phone and schedule appointments on an organized level.
  • Collect copays for office staff and manage payments on the day of service.
  • Maintain daily patient charts and document all necessary information in the medical record.
  • Answer basic phone calls and assist with other administrative duties as needed.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
