Job Overview Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Front Desk Receptionist and become the welcoming face of our clinic! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from appointment scheduling to billing. Your energetic and organized approach will help streamline daily operations, manage patient interactions, and support clinical staff with administrative excellence. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages trust and comfort Schedule appointments efficiently using Dentrix Ascend Verify patient insurance coverage and update health information while adhering to HIPAA confidentiality policies Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation review Handle phone communications with professionalism, providing clear information about services, appointment times, and billing inquiries Collect payments, process insurance payments and assist with billing procedures using dental insurance knowledge Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with health information management standards Qualifications Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting with strong front desk or receptionist skills clinic experience is highly preferred Knowledge of dental billing, insurance processing, and Medicare guidelines Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management software Strong customer service orientation with exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Prior dental clinic experience is highly desirable but not mandatory Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing outstanding patient care through professionalism, efficiency, and compassion.
