Job Description

Our family-oriented Dermatology practice in Stuart is seeking a Receptionist to join our amazing, harmonious, and loving team. Our mission is to provide the absolute best care to our patients, and to create an environment of camaraderie and team spirit that makes it fun to come to work! The ideal candidate will have experience in reception and medical practice, former work experience in insurance, reconciling payments, and interacting with the public. Possess strong phone skills and be a personable individual who enjoys face-to-face and phone interaction with the public. Must be a strong team player and be comfortable with EMR, preferably EMA. The Receptionist's responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Provides support with daily activities of a medical office including greeting patients, telephone coverage and appointment scheduling. Registers patients by verifying that patient's record is up to date and accurate. Makes appropriate changes in computer system and on patient's chart/record. Coordinates referrals for office visits and authorizations for surgeries through the insurance company and other physician offices. Collects payment from patients and reconciles daily cash reports. Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe front office environment for patients and visitors.
