St. Luke's Cataract & Laser Institute is looking to hire a full-time, Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Tarpon Springs location in the surgery center. About the Position This is an outstanding opportunity to be a part of a team that provides a high level of exceptional customer service in person and over the phone. Our wonderful medical receptionists are the first to greet and ensure the environment is welcoming for patients and their families. The medical receptionist is responsible for checking patients in, preparing charts for surgical procedures, and scanning/indexing appropriate documents after surgical procedures. What do we look for? Outstanding interpersonal skills, pleasant demeanor, positive attitude, tact, diplomacy, and patience Office experience required; related medical office experience highly preferred Must have strong customer service skills and experience Must have the ability to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail Ability to read and communicate effectively in person and over the phone with patients, supervisors, doctors, and team Must be mobile in an office environment; frequent standing, sitting, and walking Must be available Monday through Friday. Start and stop times will vary based on surgery schedule.
