Full Job Description Job Duties:
  • Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Answer and direct phone calls, and respond to inquiries
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Check patients in and out, ensuring all necessary information and documentation are collected
  • Verify patient insurance information and handle patient registration
  • Collect and process payments, including co-pays and outstanding balances
  • Coordinate with medical staff to manage patient flow and wait times
  • Uphold HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and mailing
  • Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns promptly
  • Help maintain cleanliness of clinic that may includes cleaning bathrooms or waiting area, mopping, clearing trash.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other office software Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Bilingual (English/Spanish) Basic life support (BLS) certification (training to be provided if necessary)
