Job Description

Temporary Medical Receptionist (224706-04) This position is expected to last approximately 1-3 months and is a great opportunity for someone with medical front office experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. This position plays an important role in keeping the front office running smoothly and creating a positive experience for patients from check-in through check-out. As a key point of contact for non-clinical patient services, you'll work closely with patients, therapists, and team members to help maintain an efficient flow throughout the clinic. Hours Full-time, Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm Location Honolulu, Oahu Pay $20 to $24 an hour Responsibilities Greet patients and provide friendly, professional customer service. Answer incoming calls and assist with patient inquiries. Schedule and confirm patient appointments electronically. Check patients in and out and help maintain an efficient patient flow. Enter and update patient information accurately. Verify patient demographics, insurance, and financial information. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. Maintain patient charts and electronic medical records. Prepare and process charge tickets. Collect, post, and process patient payments. Perform general administrative duties including faxing, filing, and document management. Assist with additional front-office duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of medical front office/reception experience. Excellent customer service and telephone skills. Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced medical office. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with medical scheduling or electronic medical record software preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good time management and organizational skills. Dependable and flexible with scheduling. Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
